Mayor's Purse

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The location of Charity operation must be in St. Albert.
The Charity must be registered with the Roy Financial Mayor's Walk prior to the Deadline.
The Charity must raise a minimum of $1000.00 through their own efforts for the walk.
The Charity must follow through on the requirements of participation in the event.

WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE?
Any individual , group or business.
Any fundraising or special event can donate a portion of funds raised.

WHO HAS CONTRIBUTED TO DATE?
St. Albert Minor Hockey Association  -  $1000.00
St. Albert Soccer Association  -  $1000.00
Neil Rouse Realty Inc. - $2500.00
Starbucks - $672.47
St. Albert Legion - $500.00
Rona - TBD

    On Saturday, June 18th the community came together for the 11th annual Roy Financial Mayor’s Walk for Charity. Even through the pouring rain the spirit of giving was alive and well. More than 200 walkers and runners came out to support their favourite charity. Without the volunteers this event would not be possible. A special thank you to the 80 volunteers who braved the weather and cheered on the walkers throughout the morning.     

    The Roy Financial Mayor’s Walk for Charity would like to thank the 39 Charities, Volunteers and Walkers for another successful year!
