Roy Financial Mayor's Walk for Charity
The 8th Annual Event is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2008, in St. Albert. A 3km walk or 8km run ensures that everyone can participate in this fun family event.
The idea of an all-agency walk/run was formulated in the hope of helping the community become more involved in raising essential funds for local charitable organizations. As a result of several generous sponsors including our title sponsor Roy Financial all costs associated with the event are covered.
Highlights of the event include;
- Two chances to win a Grand Prize:a $1000 Gift Certificate for WestJet OR a $750.00 Gift Certificate for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts for each $125.00 that you raise in pledges
- The top three individuals who raise the most pleges will win a prize
- No registration fees.
- 100% of all pledges raised are returned to the Charities registered with the event.
- A BBQ and family fun after the walk.
